Salesforce Marketing Analyst (Santa Monica, CA)

Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Data & Analytics Manager to join the global marketing team.  The Data & Analytics Manager will help improve and maintain our sales and marketing database (in Salesforce) and be responsible for reporting and analytics for marketing and sales (in GoodData).

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop KPIs & success metrics (Maintain, improve and develop standardized metrics and reporting mechanisms) for small business, mid-market & enterprise segments
  • Building / maintaining marketing analytics dashboards in Salesforce/GoodData to understand marketing campaign success metrics
  • Build out data model including predictive analytics
  • Predict and understand customer patterns through metric and statistical analysis
  • Maintain key system metrics to track trends in usage
  • Support all global markets and company departments in marketing analytics
  • Maintain data integrity thru data cleansing and de-duplication
  • Create and manage standard and custom objects, fields, and formulas
  • Document various project requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • 2-3 years of experience in SalesForce.com
    • 2-3 years of business analysis and/or data analysis experience
    • SalesForce.com administrator certification a strong plus
    • Experience with Marketo or another marketing automation platform preferred
    • GoodData experience is a plus 
  • Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment required
  • Strong business acumen, superb knowledge of business processes and CRM best practice required
  • Advanced knowledge or Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational & time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • A results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment
